The tallest member of the World Federation of Great Towers... At 553m... It's a sight! I bet the view from above is perfect... Located in Toronto, Canada... I have a thing for towers... Visited Seoul Tower, Tsutenkaku, Nagoya TV Tower and Tokyo Tower... Will visit more... And more... And more...
Mount Everest... I used to be in Everest house back in secondary school... I always think the house system is stupid... Cause it breaks up class cohesion... It's not like we are a boarding school with residential houses... We go home at 1pm! Located in Nepal, near the border between Nepal and China... It's more traditional Tibetan name being Chomolungma... Not that I want to scale it(impossible!)! I just wanna glare at it and shed tears of joy at the base camp...
The Rungrado May Day Stadium in Pyongyang, North Korea... The greatest sports stadium in the World! With a capacity of 150,000! The last time an international football match was played there resulted in a riot of sort... Now 150,000 rioting is not a situation I wanna be in... Or near...
The Grand Canyon! When I was younger... I pictured a really big box of crayon... Until someone corrected my illusion and my spelling mistake... Located in Arizona, in the Grand Canyon National Park... Said to be cutted by the Colorado River over 2 million years... Either way... Really impressive...
Great Pyramid of Giza... In Cairo, Egypt... Within the Sahara desert! The last reminding seven wonders of the anicent World... A very frequent visitor of people's top 10 travel destination list... A cliche of a choice... But I STILL WANT TO SEE IT!
The Colosseum in Rome, Italy... The stadium of choice of ancient Roman blood sports... Many gladiators must have given up their life in that... In the name of entertainment! Luckily violent in sports have subdued... Now we usually just have football hooligans hitting each other...
The Uluru, located in the Northen Territory of Australia... The biggest piece of rock in the World! I have nothing much to say about it... I just want to see it!
The Eiffel Tower in Paris, France... Never meant to be a permanent structure... The inspiration behind Tokyo Tower... If Godzilla is French, he would attack the Eiffel Tower! Apparently my bro-in-law proposed to my sis on top of it (or so they claim in their wedding presentation!)... The location of choice for many romance cliche... A definite must see!
Anatarctica! The biggest continent in the World without a country! The coldest, driest and windiest region in the World! And the biggest desert in the World (remember kids! a desert is a region with little or no rain... Anatarctica qualifies!)! I just wanna go there to cuddle a penguin... Provided they don't bite me...
Saint Basil's Cathedral... In Moscow, Russia... I mean... Look at it! It's huge... It's colourful... And it's covered in onions! I remember seeing it in the Britannia Encyclopedia when I was 5(what the hell am I reading an Encyclopedia at 5 for?!? For a start... It's there...), and have wanted to visit it since... It was the first building I though of today when I started compiling my list... A proof of its impact on my little mind back then...
