A crowd of 10,053 came to the Perth Oval to support the Glory boys...

Sadly... A disappointing day for Perth Fans... As Glory does down 1-2 to an unimpressive Melbourne side...

It was around this time when I noticed an event of pure evilness... 3 kids were playing in the stand... 2 older is and a younger boy... It was pretty obvious to me, that the 2 older kids are irritated by the younger boy... And so one of them said... 'We are playing hide n seek! You go hide! And we will find you...' And so the younger boy ran off into the stand... And the 2 older 1s... Turned their back... And continue watching the match!

They won... They can linger on the field...

And here we have Tampines favorite... On loan with a guest contract at Melbourne Victory! Playing on the left of midfield... Not here to warm the bench for Victory... Playing his first full game for the side...

Today I learned about the story of Kevin and Sarah... Why didn't I met any nice girls on the train?

Last Training... And more Muscle Biopsy!

Just a photo of the leg press which I have been doing... My 1RM have improved by quite a sum, but my weight, percentage body fat, and thigh lean mass remains pretty much the same... Not exactly what the researchers are hoping for... =P With this, my free gym session are up! Now I need to get myself a gym membership till I get back to Singapore...

Had 2 muscle biopsy done today... 1 before and 1 after the training session... I remember my body going into mild shock after the first biopsy at week 1... But today's biopsy after 8 weeks were after-effectless... No dizziness... No weakness... Nothing... Perhaps my body is now used to the idea of getting speared! =x Stab me! Stab me! I want to say again that the muscle biopsy is less painful compared to the usual vaccum blood sampling test and finger prick blood sampling test... Sure it looks awful... But it's really very bearable!

And so today we present... A video of the muscle biopsy being done on me... Ta-da! Thanks to Dr Anthony Blazevich for filming permission and commentary, and thanks to the Brazilian researcher whose name I did not ask for filming...

Today I made couscous for dinner... Goes well with steak... Almost everything goes well with steaks...

Today I was half an hour late for work... Was suppose to get to work at 2pm, but got there at 2.30pm instead... Wrote it down in my schedule wrongly... Oh well...

Climate Chamber

One of the unit inside the climate chamber... At 30 degrees with 80% humidity... Felt like home for a moment... =P

Was involved in acclimatisation session for Perth Glory over monday and wednesday... Really quite interesting to see them sweat it out in the chamber... While the news report called it a heat chamber, it's more like a climate chamber, for temperature can be adjusted both up and down... And more importantly... Humidity can be adjusted... In the end, another interesting experience and learning trip...
